The Liebert CRV fits seamlessly into a row of racks and continuously adjusts its operation based on real-time temperature and humidity readings. Up to 10 racks per cooling unit may be monitored to improve system performance. Designed for hot aisle/cold aisle configurations, the Liebert CRV is available in 20 or 35 kW air-cooled and water/glycol-cooled systems, and 40 kW chilled water-cooled systems (60 Hz).

The Liebert CRV helps IT managers control the heat in their data center. With several intelligent, key features, it:

- Controls environmental conditions. The Liebert iCOM® Control presents up to 22 temperature measurements and unit performance in an easy to understand graphical summary. It also provides alerts for preventive maintenance before issues occur. Liebert IntelliSlotTM Communication Cards can be accessed without entering the high voltage panel and allow the system to communicate with remote infrastructure management systems.

- Directs cooling. Adjustable baffles direct airflow right, left or in both directions, allowing you to easily change the airflow distribution to meet your cooling needs. The horizontal airflow cooling design is suitable for raised or non-raised floors.

- Adjusts capacity. The digital scroll compressor enables the variable cooling capacity to precisely match changing cooling demand without cycling on and off, reducing energy consumption and extending compressor life.

- Saves energy. Variable speed EC fans regulate air flow and reduce the fan input power; resulting in up to 50 percent less power used by the fans compared to traditional perimeter cooling. It can also be used with the Emerson Network Power SmartAisleTM, a highly energy-efficient aisle containment solution.

- Provides ease of service. Installation and service time is minimal as the Liebert CRV has both front and back accessibility, with high performance air filters easily accessed through the back of the unit. On-board service history and spare parts list are conveniently accessed through the Liebert iCOM® Control.
