Our three types of touch screens offered are resistive, capacitive, and SAW.

•Resistive relies upon a finger, stylus or even gloved hand through pressure to create an internal electric contact in the screen. The created voltage gives a separate X and Y-axis reading. The flexible input methods and durability make resistive touch screens very popular.

•Capacitive relies upon a finger to act as a capacitor, drawing current from the screen. The position of the finger is calculated from the change in current flow. Capacitive touch is ideal for harsh environments and stands up to dirt, grease and other contaminants.

•SAW (surface acoustic wave) relies upon wave absorption by a finger or gloved hand touch to change the signal and identify the touched area. Receiving strips gather waves and direct them through the transducers reconverting them into an electronic signal. SAW touch screens are best for clean environments
