MICROSOFT CORPORATION

Microsoft Authorized Education Resellers (AERs) are specially trained and authorized to sell Microsoft Academic Edition software products and licenses to qualified educational users.

Mainline Computer Products has the authorization as a Microsoft Authorized Education Reseller. This partnership allows Mainline Computer Products to obtain academic products and licensing through Microsoft's Authorized Academic distributors like Ingram Micro, Synnex, and Tech Data etc.

If your institution needs five or more copies of Microsoft software, you'll get the best prices by participating in a Microsoft Academic Volume Licensing program.

Qualified education users can receive special discounts on boxed, retail versions of Microsoft software by purchasing Academic Edition Full Packaged Product (FPP). Academic Edition FPP is the same powerful, fully-functional software as the regular retail version. The only difference is the "Academic Edition" label and the discounted price.
You'll get even deeper discounts through our Academic Volume Licensing Programs if your institution needs five or more copies of Microsoft products.

To purchase Academic Edition FPP, you must meet certain eligibility requirements. Most education institutions, education faculty and staff members, and higher education students qualify.

Microsoft Qualified Educational User Definition (United States Only)

All Microsoft Eligible Education Customers must be located or reside in the United States. Microsoft Corporation shall resolve any issues relating to the eligibility of customers to purchase Academic Edition (AE) product at its sole discretion. RESELLER must validate customer eligibility via collection of a valid academic purchase order prior to all distribution to Qualified Education Users. In the case of distribution to Higher Education students, full and part time faculty and staff of Educational Institutions, RESELLER must also collect and keep a proof of student enrollment or employment from the Educational Institution. Proof of enrollment must either be a copy of an official photo identification card from the Educational Institution or official documentation from the Educational Institution's registration office verifying that the individual is an enrolled student at the institution at the time of purchase. If the official identification card does not include a photograph of the student, the copy of the identification card must be accompanied by a second source photo identification. Only Campus Resellers are waived from keeping a copy of valid ID once the Campus Reseller has verified customer's eligibility.
